To develop and Deploy a Revised Performance Management System Implementation Proposal
The Challenge
FCSL wishes to implement a revised performance management system which will create, motivate and sustain a performance culture in the organisation, and provide performance information on several defined activities of the organisation. This system when implemented is expected to create a basis for clearly defined performance expectations/goals across the Organisation, Departments, Teams, Structures and Employees and further create the basis for transforming the Organisation into a world-class institution.
The Solution
P4PE Institute is proposing to implement an adapted KPI model performance management system for the FCSL. This model will fully enable the organisation to achieve the following;
- Align the entire organisation and its Employees with its Mandate, Vision and strategic objectives
- Cascade down to all of the structures and levels and Job Roles
- Drive performance Culture, change in Orientation, Attitude and professionalism in the the way the Organisation is run and amongst the Employees
- Implement a sound performance planning and appraisal system that effectively commits Employees to goals and holds them accountable for results
- Focus on performance management as a process for achieving superior performance rather than just performance ratings and appraisals which are at best periodic and historic ratings of performance
- Provide proactive reports on the performance of individuals, teams, departments and the enterprise.
- More effectively link performance to a reward system that is clear, transparent and sufficiently motivating
