Exam Window:

The online examination will hold four times in a year – March, June, September and December. Full information about the examination is contained in the syllabus and applicants are enjoined to read it carefully. Candidates must have been admitted as student members at least one month before the examination date.

Exemption Provisions

  • Holders of Bachelor’s Degree/HND in the Social Sciences, Humanities and Management courses shall begin from Intermediate II.
  • Holders of higher degrees in other disciplines shall begin from Intermediate II.
  • Holders of higher degrees (e.g. M.A./M.Sc/MBA/M.Phil/Ph.D) in relevant disciplines shall begin from PE I.
  • Candidates who hold the Associate certificate, by Examination only, of other relevant and recognized Institutes with a Bachelor’s Degree/HND and possess the requisite five credits at Ordinary level shall begin from PE I upon submission and acceptance of the student’s transcript from such Institute.

About CIPM Intermediate II

The CIPM Intermediate 2 exams are a standard component of the educational pathway for HR professionals who are pursuing the Associate Membership of CIPM (ACIPM) qualification. Here are some important details about these exams:

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for the Intermediate 2 exams, candidates must have completed the earlier stages of the CIPM program and fulfilled the academic requirements specified by CIPM.

Passing Requirements: To pass the Intermediate 2 exams, candidates must attain a minimum passing score as determined by CIPM.

About CIPM Professional Exam (PE I & PEII)

The CIPM Professional exams (PE I & II) form a part of the educational pathway for HR professionals who are aiming to achieve Full Membership of CIPM (MCIPM) status. These exams are designed to evaluate advanced HR knowledge and skills. Here are some important details about the CIPM Professional exams:

Eligibility: Candidates who wish to take the Professional exams are usually required to have obtained the ACIPM qualification and have a specified number of years of post-qualification HR-related work experience.

Curriculum: The Professional exam curriculum delves deeper into advanced HR topics and may include subjects such as strategic HR management, labor law, HR metrics and analytics, and ethics in HR.

Examination Format: The format of the Professional exams may include a combination of essay questions, case studies, and practical assessments. These exams are designed to assess candidates’ ability to analyze complex HR issues and provide strategic solutions.

Passing Requirements: To pass the Professional exams, candidates must attain a minimum passing score as determined by CIPM.
